Below is an overview of a few rice dishes available:

Rice Vermichelli Noodles

These are thin dried rice noodles often used in stir fries and soups

Jasmine Rice

A long grained sweet smelling rice named after the Jasmine flower of South East Asia. Jasmine rice cooks to a soft sticky grain and its taste enhances the traditional spices of Thai dishes.

Black Sticky Rice

The black coating is merely the bran layer found on all types of rice. The bran helps the grains to remain separate and this variety is perfect for use in desserts when combined with traditional white rice, giving the perfect combination of colour and stickiness. Why not try our Black Rice Sticky Pudding.

Canadian Wild Rice

Not technically rice, wild rice is the name given to the rice-like seed of an aquatic grass found in the northern USA and Southern Canada. This grass seed is richer in protein and other nutrients than real rice.

Basmati

This long grained and needle shaped rice is traditionally used in Indian cooking and has a light, dry texture. The grains are very fluffy and stay separate when cooked. Found in the Himalayan foothills, this Rice is delicious and slightly perfumed once cooked.

Indonesian Coconut Rice

We take traditional long grained rice and infuse it with coconut milk spiced with cumin and coriander. This creates one of the most delicious flavours you will find.
